Los Árboles, Tunuyán, Valle de Uco, Mendoza.
Vineyard
Vineyard:
High trellis training system of 30 years of age located at 1,200 masl, with the presence of alluvial sandy loam soils and round and angular stones.
Floor:
The intermingled layers of loose sand give the soil great drainage, and from a certain height when moving within the vineyard itself, calcium carbonate is found.
Irrigation:
A drip irrigation system is used which, thanks to the permeability of the soil, allows us to control the vigor of the plant during the vegetative development and ripening of the grapes.

Harvest: manual at the end of April. Manual selection of bunches.
Maceration:
Approximate pre-fermentation of 5 days at 8 °C in 1,000 liter stainless steel tanks.
Fermentation:
Fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts up to 4%. Then inoculated with LSA until the end of fermentation. Fermented at temperatures between 25 and 29 °C, with daily pump-overs and malolactic fermentation (MLF) in American and French oak barrels.
Breeding:
12 months in American and French oak barrels.
Storage potential:
5 years under ideal conditions.
Tasting Notes
Color: It features an attractive, intense, and bright bluish-red color.
Nose: ripe red fruits, candied fruits, local herbs, white pepper and persistent vanilla aromas are appreciated, which integrate with a subtle aroma of coconut.
On the palate: it presents a pleasant entry with robust tannins, a long finish, and balanced acidity. Ripe plums and dark chocolate stand out, thanks to its aging in French and American oak barrels.
